Dr. Katie Vargas

AWARD-WINNING COSMETIC DENTIST

Dr. Katie Vargas has a rare combination of warm personality, artistic eye, and strong clinical skills, but most importantly, she listens and gets to know each patient one-on-one, in order to tailor treatment plans to fit their individual needs. Dr. Katie Vargas grew up in Ontario, Canada, and moved to the States when she was admitted to Princeton University. After graduating from Princeton with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, she continued her education at Georgetown University, earning a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Vargas completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University, where she won numerous cosmetic and operative dentistry awards and completed an honors residency in NYU Faculty Practice. She is an American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry award winner and an Associate of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest techniques in cosmetic and comprehensive care, and participates in numerous continuing education courses around the country.

Dr. Katie Vargas is the founder of Riverfront Dental Care. She opened the start-up practice to focus on her passion for cosmetic dentistry while providing access to multiple dental specialists in a single office. She has a warm personality and understands that patients often have a level of anxiety regarding their oral health and dental care. Dr. Vargas listens and gets to know her patients before developing a therapeutic alliance and treatment plan. Dr. Vargas is a proud military wife. She lives in North Augusta, SC with her husband, Dr. Anthony Vargas, and their 2 children. In her spare time, you can find her jogging on the North Augusta Greenway and cooking for her family.
